Our Remodeling Process

Built Right From the Start

A quality kitchen or bathroom remodel is about more than what you see when the project is finished. At Adamant Builders, we follow a detailed remodeling process designed to protect your home, keep your project organized, and make sure the work behind the walls is completed with the same care as the finished space.

01 — Planning & Preparation

Every successful renovation starts with a plan. Before construction begins, we review the layout, materials, fixtures, project requirements, and sequence of work so your remodel can move efficiently from demolition through completion.

02 — Protecting Your Home

Before demolition starts, we carefully prepare the work area and establish a protected path from the renovation area to the exterior of your home. Floors, walls, doors, and other vulnerable surfaces are protected as needed to help control dust and prevent damage throughout construction.

03 — Careful Demolition

Demolition is done methodically—not simply torn apart. Existing plumbing, electrical wiring, and other important components are identified and labeled before walls are opened whenever possible. Once the space is exposed, we inspect the underlying framing and mechanical systems before rebuilding begins.

04 — Framing, Plumbing & Electrical

With the room opened up, framing is inspected and adjusted for the new design. Plumbing and electrical rough-ins are then completed for the new layout, including fixtures, lighting, outlets, switches, drains, water lines, ventilation, and other project requirements.

05 — Drywall & Surface Preparation

Once the rough work is complete, we begin rebuilding the space. Walls and ceilings are prepared using the appropriate drywall, backer systems, compounds, and substrates for each area. Proper preparation at this stage creates the foundation for clean tile, cabinetry, trim, and paint finishes.

06 — Waterproofing

Waterproofing is one of the most important parts of a bathroom remodel. Before tile is installed, shower walls, floors, niches, curbs, penetrations, and other wet areas are carefully prepared using an appropriate waterproofing system.

It may eventually disappear behind the tile, but this is some of the most important work we do.

07 — Tile Installation

Before installation begins, we plan the tile layout around the room, fixtures, niches, transitions, corners, and focal points. Tile is then carefully installed, set, grouted, and finished to create a clean and intentional final appearance.

08 — Cabinetry, Trim & Finish Work

The renovation begins coming together with cabinetry, vanities, doors, trim, countertops, fixtures, lighting, hardware, appliances, and finish carpentry. Each component is installed and adjusted as the project approaches completion.

09 — Painting & Final Details

Walls, ceilings, doors, and trim are prepared and painted while final plumbing fixtures, electrical devices, accessories, and hardware are installed. We inspect the finished work and address the small details that make the entire renovation feel complete.

10 — Cleanup & Final Walkthrough

Construction debris and protective materials are removed, the work area is cleaned, and the completed renovation is carefully reviewed. We then walk through the finished space with you and address any remaining details before considering the project complete.

Quality You Can See. Preparation You Can't.

Beautiful tile, cabinetry, and fixtures are only part of a successful renovation. What happens underneath them matters just as much.
